Visiting Mexico City for the first time? We have the perfect route with the most iconic spots, traffic-free.
If it’s your first time visiting Mexico City, you’ve probably already noticed two things: the city is beautiful, but the traffic can be a real challenge. Luckily, there’s an amazing way to get around quickly, have fun, and explore the heart of the capital all at the same time: hop on an ECOBICI.
To ride like a local, we’ve put together a basic route through the city’s historic center—safe, scenic, and along the city’s most beautiful avenue. Let’s ride!

1. The Start: Among Trees and Art
Begin your morning in Chapultepec Forest. Riding under the shade of its giant trees is the best way to relax. You can also stop by and take a photo outside the Museum of Modern Art.
To drop off or pick up your bike: CE 192-193 (near the Museum of Anthropology and History) or CE 194 (in front of the Museum of Modern Art).

2. The must-see stop: The Angel of Independence
Leaving the park, merge directly onto the Paseo de la Reforma bike path. It’s very wide and safe. Continue straight until you reach the Angel of Independence; lock your bike for a moment and take that classic souvenir photo to show off on your social media.
To drop off or pick up your bike: Bike stations 16, 17, 24, and 25 (right on either side of the Angel).

3. The Perfect Ending: Palace of Fine Arts and Alameda Central
Continue along the Reforma bike path and turn onto Avenida Juárez. You’ll come face to face with the spectacular Palace of Fine Arts. Right next to it is Alameda Central, the ideal spot to sit down, enjoy an ice cream, and rest your legs after your adventure.
To drop off or pick up your bike: CE 52 (on Av. Hidalgo, a few steps from the palace).
Golden tip for your first time: Remember to leave your bike at the bike-sharing stations at each stop to explore on foot at your leisure, and then pick up another one to continue your route.
Enjoy the city and ride safely!
