1. National Museum of Anthropology
Considered the largest museum in Mexico and one of the most prominent in the world, the National Museum of Anthropology houses a large number of archaeological and anthropological testimonies from many cultures, telling a story of hundreds of years. It has 22 rooms where you can find two permanent collections and other temporary exhibitions. Plan your route to arrive in ECOBICI, CE 195 is very close. 2. MUNAL
In the heart of the Historic Center is the National Museum of Art, a venue that gives us a great perspective on the history of Mexican art in the period between the second half of the 16th century and the first half of the 20th century. The MUNAL offers several exhibitions, as well as special activities such as concerts and conferences. Visit it from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., CE 65 is just a few steps away. 3. Museum of Mexico City
A few blocks from the Zócalo, located on Pino Suárez street with Republica El Salvador corner, in the old Palace of the Counts of Santiago Calimaya, is the Museum of Mexico City. In it you can find 26 galleries, most of their exhibitions are temporary, as they seek to show the multiple ways of seeing and feeling Mexico City from different visual artists. 4. Ripley’s Museum – Wax – Fantastic Voyage
On Calle Londres No. 4 in Colonia Juárez you can find a set of attractions for children and adults. From incredible people, animals and objects at Ripley’s Museum; more than 260 figures of your favorite famous people in the Wax Museum and even enjoy 4D cinema in the “Fantastic Voyage” attraction. They have packages to enter a museum or for the tour of the 3 attractions. They are open every day of the year from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
5. Frida Kahlo Museum
Now that ECOBICI has arrived in Coyoacán, “La casa azul” is a museum that you cannot miss. The Frida Kahlo museum has several collections that will take you into the world that surrounded Frida, as well as workshops, conferences, and special events.
