Call your friends, roll over to these spots, and celebrate Chocolate Day.
Whether paired with other desserts, enjoyed as a warm snack, mixed with nuts, served dark or with milk, or found in ice cream, cakes, and even *mole*—no matter how you prefer your chocolate, Mexico City always offers a delicious and affordable spot to eat or drink it. So, to celebrate Chocolate Day, we’ve put together a city route featuring the very best flavors. Solo or with friends, grab an ECOBICI, boost your energy, and start pedaling!

We begin our journey at Café de Tacuba, one of Mexico City’s most iconic restaurants, boasting over 114 years of history. Located in the city’s Historic Center, it offers a rich selection of breakfasts, poultry, fish, and meat dishes for lunch, as well as desserts and hot beverages for dinner. Our recommendation: the house chocolate and strawberry cake—or, if you prefer something savory, the *enmoladas* are a must-try.
📍CE 65 Marconi – Tacuba

Continuing our journey, we hop on our ECOBICI bikes and explore the city as far as the Condesa neighborhood. Here, we pause to cool off at Myka Greek Condesa, the famous ice cream shop by Mexican chef Natalia Morales—a brand that has already won over Madrid and the United States. The must-try item on our tour? Naturally, the Tiramisu yogurt ice cream or the Mykatafi: natural yogurt ice cream with a hard chocolate shell, paired with a crunchy mix of pistachios and kataifi pastry.
📍CE 62 Fernando Montes de Oca – Amatlán

Once you’ve carved out some time, pedal over to Plaza Coyoacán—the go-to spot for fans of hot chocolate and churros. We’ll stop at one of the local eateries to grab this iconic, traditional treat while enjoying the Coyote Fountain and the family-friendly nightlife that defines Coyoacán.
📍CE 698 Cerrada Zamora – Av. Miguel Ángel de Quevedo
Now you’re all set to celebrate Chocolate Day. Make a plan, round up your friends, and go for a ride in honor of chocolate.
