The Ecobici renewal process continues to advance to reach more points in the city and facilitate the mobility of thousands of people. This transformation also reaches the new app, with which you can plan, unlock and travel more easily.
In addition to locating the nearest bike station on its interactive map, you can now pick up a bike by scanning a QR code, as well as trace your routes, check your travel history and receive notifications.
To start using it, sign up and choose the membership you want. If you are already an Ecobici user, you must migrate to the new app:
- You will receive an email inviting you to create a new account.
- You will be redirected to our site to reset your email and password.
- Set up your account, agree to the Terms and Conditions, and add a payment method.*
- You will receive a confirmation email for the new account.
- Ready! Open the new app and enjoy your trip.
It is very important to remember that member accounts that are active and switch to the new system will have the same expiration date as in the old system. While members who switch to the new system with an expired account will have to purchase an annual membership.
You can also link your Mobility Card in the app from your account settings by entering the last six digits found on the back of the card.

Scan the QR code on the bike and unpin.
3. Review
You have 2 minutes to check the bike. Return it if it has flaws and take another one.
4. Travel
Enjoy your journey respecting traffic regulations.
5. Return
Anchor the bike in a space with the green light.
6. Check
Confirm that the spotlight turns red. You will receive a notification that the bike was successfully anchored.
